The course is aimed at mastering the methods of proper use of blood products, allows you to create professional skills necessary to provide specialized transfusiological care to patients. The program is a system of knowledge about the pathology of the blood and clotting systems that require transfusiological treatment, the basics of working with donors, methods of preparation, storage and use of all necessary components.
The purpose of training is to form a holistic view of the directions, problems and principles of transfusiological care organization.
This goal is associated with the formation of students of those competencies that relate to the professional skills of doctors using blood components in their practice.
The objectives of the program are training:
· The basic principles of the organization of donation;
· Methods of diagnosis and treatment of common pathological conditions of the hematopoietic system and hemostasis;
· The basic principles of the preparation, storage and use of blood components;
· Diagnosis and treatment of major post-transfusion complications.
